Knife Works Return Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from knifeworkz. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it to request a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions. Call us at 510-779-2612 to get started.
Once you receive your RA number, your return must arrive within 10 days from the date of your call.
Please remember the following when returning your item:

RA numbers are only issued by phone and not via email.

Make sure your RA number is clearly visible on the outside of your return package. Packages missing an RA number will be refused.

The following conditions must be met for returns to be accepted:

All items must be brand new, unused, and returned in the original box with all factory paperwork.

Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Do not ship items in padded envelopes. Boxes damaged in shipping may result in denied returns.

Keep a record of your return tracking number.

Include your original invoice and a short note explaining the reason for the return.

Do not write on or tape the product boxes. Any such damage may void eligibility for return.

At knifeworkz, customer satisfaction is our top priority.
If we send you the wrong item, we will take full responsibility. We will provide you with a return label and promptly send the correct item at no extra cost. While express shipping is not offered for replacement orders, we work hard to resolve such issues quickly and hassle-free.
Sezzle Orders (Returns/Cancellations)
knifeworkz proudly offers Sezzle for flexible payments. If an order made with Sezzle is canceled or refunded, a 6% processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
We appreciate your understanding — transparency is always our goal.
Route Package Protection
Please note that Route Package Protection is non-refundable if you choose to return your item.
Engraved Items
Items that are custom engraved are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
Promotional Item Return Policy
If your purchase included a promotional item (such as a bonus gift, gift card, or promotional discount), you’re still welcome to return the main item.

If you request a refund, the value of the promotional item will be deducted from your refund.

If you exchange for an item that doesn’t qualify for the original promotion, the value of the promotional item will be charged to you.
Shipping Cost on Returns
Orders that originally received free shipping will have a $7.95 deduction applied when returned for a refund.
Incomplete Returns
Items returned without all original contents (packaging, accessories, paperwork) may result in delayed refunds until all materials are received.
Condition for Refund
To qualify for a refund, products must be returned in new, unused condition and with all original manufacturer packaging. Items returned in used or damaged condition are subject to a 25% restocking fee, determined by management.
Defective Merchandise
If you receive a defective item, we’re happy to help.

We will replace any unused defective product within 30 days of purchase.

Return shipping is your responsibility, but we’ll cover shipping for the replacement.

After 30 days, warranty service must be handled through the manufacturer.

If you request a refund for a defective product instead of a replacement, return shipping is still your responsibility.
Return Policy Abuse
Returns cost us time and resources, but we remain committed to helping our customers. However, excessive or repeated returns, as determined by knifeworkz management, may result in a 25% restocking fee. Examples of abuse include frequent or habitual returns.
