But what you didn’t know is that they also make pretty sweet fixed blade knives as well! The Hawthorne Knife Collection series Explorer is a prime example of their excellent fixed blade knives. It features a cryogenically treated 1095 steel blade with a scandi grind and a black oxide finish to help prevent rust and corrosion. The handle is made from smooth zebra wood. Included in the impressive display box is a black leather sheath for conveniently carrying the knife.
